dc.description.abstract | En France, la recherche biomédicale a
été réglementée par une loi, appelée
loi Huriet-Sérusclat, du nom des
deux sénateurs qui l’ont proposée.
Elle institue une protection des
personnes qui se prêtent à ces
recherches, avec ou sans un bénéfice
personnel potentiel, individuel et
direct.
| fr |
dc.description.abstract | It is a matter of ensuring that informed consent is obtained from the individuals participating in clinical research, but, more than the issue of consent, it is essential that the ethical relevance of the other procedures is evaluated. Furthermore, we would like to underline the importance of the following elements taken up in the new propositions of the Helsinki declaration and for which French law makes provisions. (1) The necessity to ensure the relevance of the balance of risks and benefits, the scientific validity of the basis of research, the investigators' qualifications, the rights of research subjects, the quality of the access to health care offered to these subjects, the procedures of the controlled clinical trials linked to the independence, the composition and operational practices of the independent ethical research committees and, lastly the procedures and criteria set up to ensure the protection of research subjects and compensation in the case of injury. (2) To ensure that these recommendations are effectively applied we offer below a 10 point grid for the evaluation of the research protocols. The committee's primary goal is to ensure the protection of human subjects in the whole country. | en |
